This is the transcript of the 'What is an MLD?' video
Andrew:
The Main Learning Display, MLD, is an interactive digital system that replaces traditional teaching displays such as a chalkboard or whiteboard. The MLD consists of an interactive panel, a Mini PC, a webcam, either the BRIO or MeetUp, as well as a wireless keyboard and mouse. These components allow you to operate your MLD independent of a laptop, utilising all the common features found on any eT4L device. An MLD allows you to present slide decks, videos, still images, web pages, and gives you the ability to annotate on documents using the touch features. Your MLD may be either wall mounted or trolley mounted, allowing you to position the MLD in a suitable location in your teaching space.
