Take the transport app challenge!
Could your students design and build an app that makes transport easy for all? In this new issue of T4L Kids magazine, students can take the challenge to design, then develop an app for a real-life client like Transport for NSW. With a guided video brief from their potential client, students will prototype a transport app and take it further by developing it into a real life app. More advanced students can code their apps and bring them to life. This challenge comes with guided student resources around app design, inclusive design and tools for coding. They’ll have everything they need to get started on their app adventure. Students can share their apps via video pitch with the T4L team.
The Transport app offers a real-world problem and asks students to find a real-world solution, and supports design thinking and computational thinking skills. You'll find links to the Teachers’ notes with curriculum links and further suggestions for the classroom, in the magazine.
