Which tool do I need?

There are many options available for viewing and editing PDFs. You can access PDFs through the browser (free), Acrobat Reader (free), Adobe Express (all staff and students have an automatic licence) and Acrobat Pro (apply for a licence). Use the table below to find the product that will meet your needs.

Acrobat Reader

Adobe Acrobat Reader is a free application that is part of the T4L computer image that allows users to view, print, and annotate PDF documents with ease. PDF documents can also be viewed, printed and annotated in the Microsoft Edge browser, and viewed and printed in the Google Chrome browser.

Express

Adobe Express is a simplified version of Adobe’s Creative Suite, enabling document, video and webpage creation in an easy-to-use format. It also has some PDF functionality. For more information and resources see the T4L Adobe Express page.

Acrobat Pro

Adobe Acrobat Pro has all of the PDF functions available as Reader and Express, as well as the ability to create fillable forms.
