This is the transcript of the 'Sound management' video
Speaker 1:
All MLDs have integrated speakers within the display panel. There may come a time when the audio is not playing as you would expect. There are three key areas that you need to check to address the issue of sound.
Speaker 1:
Firstly, check the volume control on the MLD. This can be done by using the volume control on the MLD panel or with the remote control. The volume control built into the panel of the MLD will be in a slightly different position depending on your brand. Upon adjusting the volume control, it will be indicated by a graphic on the screen. A similar check can be done using the remote control. An adjustment in the volume will be indicated by a volume graphic on the screen. You can also use the remote to ensure the MLD panel is not on mute.
Speaker 1:
If you are using the mini PC display on the MLD, check the volume control in the bottom right-hand corner of the task bar. This is indicated by the speaker icon. Click on the icon and adjust the volume accordingly. If you are using an external device, either through the HDMI cable or a device being cast to the panel, you will also need to check the volume in the task bar on that device.
Speaker 1:
Some applications also contain volume controls within them. A lack of sound can also be attributed to a lack of volume in the application you are using. Make sure the video you are viewing is not on mute or with the volume set low, such as this one.

If the troubleshooting steps still don't resolve the problems you are experiencing with sounds through your MLD, please log a ticket with EDConnect.
