Transcript of the 'BenQ - Operating the panel' video

This is the transcript of the 'BenQ - Operating the panel' video.

Michael:

Operating the BenQ interactive panel is easy to do with the quick access buttons on the front, the on-screen controls and the remote control. The control panel on the front of the board has a power button to turn it on and off. There is an additional mains power switch located on the back of the panel. The home button will bring up the home screen. The home screen provides links to the input panel and other applications. The volume plus and volume minus button will control the volume of the MLD. More menu settings can be displayed on the screen by pressing the cog button.

This allows you to quickly access the settings where you can bring up the sub menu pages, including image control and other key system settings. There are choices for the desired input connection and general controls, which include audio and picture controls. The quick access menu, which can be found on both sides of the board, will bring up or hide the frequently used functions. This will be where you'll find the native Whiteboard tool, the onscreen annotating tool. From the side menu, the snowflake shaped icon will freeze your current display. This allows you to perform other actions or tasks on your connected device without your class or audience viewing. On the remote control, you'll find many of the same functions as on the panel. There is also a mute button on the remote that will silence the speakers. Don't forget to make sure you keep the remote in a handy place for you to access.
