Transcript of the 'AirServer - Casting a Windows device' video

This is the transcript of the 'AirServer - Casting a Windows device' video

Welcome to AirServer, the hassle-free way to connect your Windows device to your Mini PC on the MLD. To cast your device, turn on and log into the Mini PC. Click on the start menu and find the AirServer app in the list. Launch the application. The AirServer window will open. Take note of the device name in the bottom right-hand corner of the window. On your laptop, press the Windows and the K button together. This will bring up a list of the devices on the right-hand side of the screen. Simply match the name that is displayed by the AirServer app.

You will now be able to see the laptop's shared screen on the MLD. For added convenience, touch input on the MLD can be enabled for the screen sharing laptop. This can be useful if your laptop is on a desk on one side of the room, and you want to change between applications when you are near the MLD. To do this, simply tick the box next to allow mouse keyboard, touch and pen input from this device. Well done, you just successfully cast your device, allowing you to move around the classroom without the need for cables connecting you to the MLD. With AirServer, seamless screen sharing is at your fingertips. Enjoy the freedom to teach, present, or share from anywhere in the room.
