This is the transcript of the 'AirServer - Classroom management' video
Your device is now successfully casting to your MLD. Let's look at a few additional features to maximize engagement and make your experience with using AirServer much more enjoyable. First up, to customize features of AirServer, click on the hamburger icon on the bottom left-hand side of the screen when the app is open. Laboring AirServer is really helpful if you have multiple MLDs in close proximity and you want to select the correct one. Select personalization and then enter a friendly name. This could be the room number of your classroom or teacher's name.
Full screen viewing allows you to make AirServer take up the full viewing window on the MLD. This can be turned on in advanced settings under Windows behavior. You will notice that AirServer smartly modifies the layout to maximize the size of the current content displayed, quickly changing when devices go from landscape or portrait mode. AirServer automatically enables multiple users to cast to the MLD. This feature will ensure you can share, promote, and keep track of the work your students are currently completing, and giving feedback when and where required.
By tapping the expand or contract arrows, you can choose which device to feature. To remove a device, simply tap the X. Prompting users for a code to connect to the AirServer app upon entry helps manage users upon casting to the MLD. This feature can be accessed by toggling the onscreen code in AirPlay, Google Cast, and Miracast sections. When a user attempts to connect to the AirServer application, they will be prompted to enter a code. This code is displayed on the MLD screen and needs to be entered into the classroom device. Once a user connects via the code, they will be able to see their work on the MLD screen. This important feature is great at ensuring that only users within your classroom connect to your MLD.
