Session 3: Capturing Images to the Cloud

In Session 3 of the Productivity with Digital Tools series, we’ll explore practical ways to capture, store, and access images and documents using cloud storage. A well-structured cloud workflow not only saves time, but also helps ensure school and work content stays secure and separate from personal devices.

This session is designed for NSW DoE staff who want to confidently use cloud tools to capture content directly to approved storage locations, reducing the need to save files locally on personal devices.

In this session, you’ll learn how to:

  • Choose your platform: Google My Drive or Microsoft OneDrive
  • Set up and understand cloud storage desktop (sync) apps
  • Use mobile apps to capture and upload content on the go
  • Capture images and scan documents directly to the cloud
  • Upload and organise existing images efficiently
