Session 4: Exploring AI & NSW EduChat

In this session we’ll explore how artificial intelligence can support your everyday work in a practical and responsible way. This session is designed for NSW DoE staff who are curious about generative AI and want to better understand how NSWEduChat can assist with communication, planning, and administration tasks.

We’ll unpack what generative AI is, how it works, and how NSWEduChat has been developed specifically for the NSW Department of Education environment.

In this session, you’ll learn about:

  • What Generative AI is and how it can support workplace productivity
  • What NSWEduChat is and how it differs from public AI tools
  • Practical ways to use NSWEduChat to save time on drafting, planning, and idea generation
  • Guidelines and best practice for safe, ethical, and appropriate use
  • Available resources and support materials to help you get started
