This is the transcript of the 'BenQ - Interactivity and digital inking' video.
Michael:
The BenQ interactive panel has a range of built-in native applications that can be used in the classroom. In addition, there is a department imaged Mini PC, so you can access many familiar Windows and web-based applications.
The BenQ comes with two stylus pens. These pens are magnetic and can be stored in the provided pen holders, attached to the board. The two stylus pens can be used simultaneously to allow staff and students to work collaboratively, such as engaging in a brainstorming activity. You can use your fingers to operate the touch features. However, you may find the stylus pens easier to use and more accurate, especially when writing. When using the BenQ whiteboarding tool, you can use the palm, or back of your hand, as an erase tool, rather than selecting it from the drawing menu.
It is easy to activate the floating tool by using one of the side menus or pressing with two fingers to activate this tool. This can be handy to quickly highlight and annotate any information.
