Welcome to AirServer, the hassle-free way to connect your Chrome device to your mini PC on the MLD.
To cast your device, turn on and log into the mini PC. Click on the Start menu and find the AirServer app in the list. Launch the application. The AirServer window will open. Take note of the device name in the bottom right-hand corner of the window. If you're using a Chrome device, it's simple. Open the Chrome browser and click on the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Select Cast. A list of available devices will appear, and here you can choose the source that will be cast, either the active tab or the entire screen. Simply select the name that matches the one displayed by the AirServer app.
An alternative option is to click on the system tray located in the bottom right-hand corner where the time is displayed, and select the Cast icon. Like before, select the name that matches what is displayed on the AirServer app. Casting this way mirrors your whole screen. Well done. You just successfully cast your device, allowing you to move around your classroom without the need for cables connecting you to the MLD. With AirServer, seamless screen sharing is at your fingertips. Enjoy the freedom to teach, present, or share from anywhere in the room.
