This is the transcript of the 'Prowise - Interactivity and digital inking' video
Adam:
The Prowise touch screen interactive panel has a range of built-in applications that can be used in the classroom. In addition, the MLD is also provided with a department imaged Mini PC so you can access familiar Windows and web-based applications.
In this video, we will look at interactive functionality and native digital inking tools available on the Prowise MLD. The Prowise comes with two stylus pens. These pens are magnetic and can be stored on the front of the panel just below the screen. The two stylus pens can be used simultaneously allowing multiple teachers and/or students to work collaboratively, such as engaging in a mind mapping task.
You can also use your fingers to operate the touch screen, however you may find the stylus easier to use and more accurate when writing. When using the Prowise touch screen white boarding tool, you can use your fist or the back of your hand as an erasing tool rather than selecting it from the drawing toolbar.
The pencil icon opens the integrated digital inking tool allowing you to annotate directly over the top of a connected device or Mini PC.
