When you create a Google Classroom for your students, a folder is automatically created and housed in the classroom owners Google My Drive. Any assignments that generate individual student work will be saved into this folder, making it much easier to download and utilise student work samples outside of the Google Classroom. The folder is automatically synchronised, meaning that the owner does not need to do anything other than assign the student work as per normal!

When opening the classroom folder with My Drive you will notice that your Google Classrooms have been divided into different folders. If you are not the owner of the classroom but added as a co teacher, you will see a shortcut to this class folder and access will automatically be granted to you.
