Click the 'Classwork' tab
Click on the assignment you want to view
Click 'View Assignment'
You can now view the student work and see who has turned in their assignment
Click the assignment you want to mark
Click the student’s name. You can now view the student’s assignment
Highlight the area you want to comment on
Click the plus icon (+) that appears to the right
Type your comment
Click the 'Comment' button
Under the 'Private Comment' heading to the right, click on 'Add private comment'
Type your private comment
Click the 'Post' button
Click the suggesting mode icon to the right of the menu bar at the top
Click 'Suggesting'
Edit the student’s work
Click the comment bank icon
Click 'Add to bank'
Click the 'Add' button
Click the plus icon to the right (+)
Type the hash key (#)
Select your comment
Click the 3 dots on the comment box (...)
Click 'Add to comment bank'
Click the 'Grade' box on the right hand side
Select 'Add a Grade' or 'Add Rubric Grades' if a rubric was attached
Click the 'Return' button
Click the 'Return' button again on the pop-up
In student work view, click the grey arrow next to the student’s name. This will allow you to move onto the next student’s assignment
Alternatively, you can click the student’s name and select the student you want to grade next
Click the folder icon above the student work tiles
This will open the Google Drive folder where the student assignments are being stored
Click the cog icon at the top right
Select the Google Sheets or .CSV export option
This will now open or download a copy of the student marks
