This is the transcript of the "Setting up a classwork modules" video.

Speaker 1

Hi there. In this video, we will look at Teams Classwork and how you can use it to better organise your class teams. Classwork allows teachers to organise class resources using modules, attaching content such as OneNote class notebook sections, documents and slide decks, as well as group assignments for easy access. To begin using Classwork, click on the Classwork channel located on the left-hand side of your class team. To add content, click the plus icon in the top right-hand corner of the module.

If you want to add a section of a class notebook, click Class Notebook. You can choose to either insert an existing section or page from the class notebook attached to the team or create a brand new page that we've located within a section in the content library. To add the section, click the section name. Then, in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, click Add section. To add files from your cloud storage like OneDrive, click the plus icon in the top right-hand corner of the module and select File. Now, choose OneDrive. Navigate to the respective folder and select the file or files you wish to attach.

In the bottom right-hand corner of the window, click Attach. These files will be read-only for all students. To add additional modules, click the Add module button in the bottom left-hand corner of the window and select New module. Give the module a name, and then click Save. You can now begin attaching items to this new module. To rearrange the module's order, click any blank space within it and drag it to its desired location. You can also drag and drop files between modules, too.

For students to view the content in the module, click the button Publish in the top right-hand corner of the module. Take note. Once you publish a module, it can't be hidden, only edited or deleted. Lastly, if you want to reuse a module from a different team, including all tasks and files attached, click Add module, and then Reuse from existing. Select the team where the other module is located and then click Next. Use the checkbox to select the module or modules that you want to reuse. Then in the bottom right-hand corner of the window, select Reuse modules. The module will then be copied into your current team but will remain in draught until you choose to publish it.
