This is the transcript of the 'Images and music' video.
Speaker 1:
Welcome to the wonderful world of Clips. In this video, we will take a closer look at some of the other presentation features available to you in the Clips app, such as adding photos, posters, and music. Let's dive in.
Conveniently located on the right-hand side of the screen, you'll find the add media icon.
Once tapped, this will allow you to choose between photos and posters.
Choosing from a large range of posters can be challenging, as they are all really good. All of the posters are adjustable and some are even animated to give you that great cinematic feel. These can be inserted into your timeline and you are able to easily personalise the text on each slide. After making your adjustments, just hold the red record button down to embed it into your timeline. A good practise is to record the photo or the poster for about three to five seconds.
If you choose photos, you can select the images from your Photos app. These could be previously captured images or screenshots that you have marked up or configured to your liking. They're easily inserted directly into your timeline by selecting the image. Or you can select preview and record to add other effects. Then, simply add to the timeline by holding the red recording button.
Adjusting and moving clips within the timeline is simple. Just tap and slide to the left or to the right. We can even add music or tunes to our Clips project. This will take it to the next level. You can easily add a soundtrack that will adjust itself to the length of your timeline and overall clip. These soundtracks are royalty-free audio tracks from a range of genres perfect to enhance and engage the experience of your intended audience. Certainly worth checking out. Now that we have added a poster, a photo, some effects and a soundtrack, we can press the play button, which allows us to review and explore our project so far.
Once you have completed your project, there are ample ways to share out your clip to your classmates and your teacher by using the share button. Add some great additions to your clips today. It will certainly add the wow factor that you and your students might be looking for in the classroom.
