Speaker 1:
Welcome to the world of Apple Clips. In this video, we'll show you how to turn your favourite moments into fun clips that you can share with your friends, classmates, and your teacher.
Firstly, let's find Clips on our device. We can obviously locate it on our iPad screen, or we can swipe down and use the search function to find Clips. Once you have found it, tap on it. Clips opens up to a screen which uses the camera and is ready to build and create a project.
So let's briefly explore some of the features on this screen. Starting with the icons down the right-hand side of the screen, we will find a white circle, which allows us to capture a photo. These circle with arrows allows us to use the front and back cameras on our device. The large red button is our recording button. Regardless if it is a still image or a video, we must hold this button down to start recording. The star icon allows us to play with a lot of features and enhance the creativity of our work. And finally, the photo album icon allows us to add other media and enhancements to our clip.
Along the bottom of the screen is our timeline, all the images used in our clip. Each image is editable by selecting. The play button will show us the clip we are currently putting together. The top left of the screen is our projects button. In here we can see all of the projects that we've been working on, or to start a new project. The icon with the multiple rectangles in it allows us to change the aspect ratio of our project, and the music note on the top right allows us to add soundtracks and music to our project. This is a great way to enhance the finished product and give it that polished look and feel. Lastly, at the bottom right of the screen we have the ability to share our project to other applications or people.
And there you have it, you are now a pro at navigating this amazing creative video application. In our next videos, we will dive deeper into the amazing features, tips, and tricks that you can use with this native Apple application with your students in the classroom. Get creative, express yourself, and have fun with Apple Clips.
