Transcript of the 'Adobe Express - PDF editing and organising' video

This is the transcript for 'Adobe Express - PDF editing and organising' video.

Speaker 1:

Adobe Express brings the functionality of many professional Adobe tools together into a user-friendly interface. You can even use Adobe Express to edit and organise your PDF documents.

To access Adobe Express head to your portal. It is now available as an essential. This tile is a single sign-on link, so you'll see a few loading pages before you access the dashboard without needing to log in. Locate the PDF you'd like to edit and simply drag it into the Adobe Express dashboard. When it's done loading, hit open in the bottom right-hand corner of the window. This is the regular editing view for Adobe Express documents. To edit text, you can simply double-click on a text box and make any changes. You will see more text editing options such as font type and size to the left.

Assets, including images, can be moved and resized easily. Right-clicking on assets will give you further options, such as duplicating and deleting.

The far left menu will also allow you to add more text and media. You can upload your own images from your device, and you also have access to the large Adobe Stock library.

To delete or rearrange pages, head to the page icon in the top right-hand corner. You'll see a number inside of two pages corresponding with a number of pages in your document. Drag and drop the pages to reorder them.

The top left menu allows you to select all, add new pages, and duplicate pages. Select a page by ticking the box in the left-hand corner and hit the bin to delete it. Hit the cross in the top right-hand corner to return to the editing view.

To save your new document as a PDF, simply hit Download in the top right-hand corner. You'll be given options such as selecting just the page you are looking at to download or all pages, to change the file format if you'd prefer it saved as an image, and to download each page as individual PDF files.

When you are happy with your selection, hit download. Once your document has finished loading, you should see a File Explorer window. Elect where you would like to save the file and give it a name. Then hit save. While you're in here, have a play around with other Adobe Express features and see what else it can do.
