Creating digital portfolios or websites with the power of Google Sites

This session will showcase how students could create a website to build awareness of a conservation Issue important to them in their community! The T4L Kids ‘The Science Edition’ has some great ideas and can be used for inspiration during the session.

Students and teachers will:

  • Upload and embed content from various sources
  • Share their work with a limited audience
  • Gain insights in to effective user interface (UX) design
  • Consider how these skills could be transferable in the future

Attendee requirements:

To make the most of this session:

  • Every learner will need a device with the web browser open and logged in to their departmental Google Account.
  • We recommend having this on-demand session showing on another device, such as your MLD or projector, to enable you to actively follow along.
  • We recommend that learners have read the T4L Kids Science Edition and also have an idea ready to create their own Google site as they watch along.
