This is the transcript of the 'Outlook Calendar - Importing a calendar from CSV file' video.
Speaker 1:
Hi there, in this video we will look at how to import a calendar from a CSV file into your Outlook Calendar. Using the CSV file may be handy if you wish to amend any entries first before importing the calendar.
Open Microsoft Outlook desktop app. Make sure the toggle button for new Outlook is off. This means you are using the classic version. In the top left-hand corner of the screen, click File, then Open and Export. Click Import and Export. In the window that opens, choose the action - Import from another program or file, and click Next. Select the file type, Comma Separated Values, and click Next. Click Browse and navigate to where the new calendar CSV file is located, and click Open. Click the option, Do not import duplicate items. In case there are similar entries already in the calendar, click Next. Choose Calendar as the destination folder. This is your main Outlook calendar. Click Next, click Finish to begin the import process. This may take a few moments to complete. Once this is done, your calendar will be updated with the new entries from the CSV file.
