Adobe feedback and assesment

 

Adobe provides a range of assessment and feedback solutions for teachers that help enhance levels of student engagement, enjoyment and challenge in the learning and teaching process.  

One solution is the use of Adobe Acrobat Pro to make interactive PDF assessment and feedback documents. A benefit of creating and working with an interactive PDF is that they don’t require the Internet until the submission stage. This can be such an advantage when working with low bandwidth at school or at home. This solution helps bridge the gap between those who have high-speed Internet access and those who have none.

One of the best ways to know how to use Adobe applications in an educational context is to go directly to the Adobe Education Exchange (EdEx) and see what other teachers recommend. As of July 2020, EdEx involves over 850,000 teachers sharing ideas, lesson plans, tutorials and professional learning opportunities.

Use the Browse tab within EdEx to search and filter through the freely available resources to find the ones that best meet your needs.

The beauty of working with the Adobe Education Exchange is that if one particular resource isn’t working for you, you know that with over 850,000 teachers involved, there will be more that you can choose. Why re-invent the wheel?

An assessment and feedback EdEx resource shared by NSW DoE teacher Ross Johnson (from Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College) is called  Maximising your Feedback using Adobe Acrobat DC. In his introduction Ross says:

 There are a whole range of tools built into Acrobat to help you provide the best possible timely feedback to your students. If you have or are looking at setting up a digital classroom, Adobe Acrobat DC is an essential tool that you need to use.
