About the course
The Office of the eSafety Commissioner is offering free accredited 90-minute webinars for teachers on eSafety. This training module has been developed for primary and secondary teachers and provides two hours of NESA registered PD. The program comprises:
- 90-minute webinar
- 30 minutes of reading and assessment.
What does it cover?
The eSafety teacher PD module covers the latest online safety research, case studies and teaching strategies to help teachers integrate online safety into their programs and student wellbeing planning.
Teachers will learn to:
understand the key skills young people need to protect them from online risks
identify resources to support online safety education
recognise current trends in technology and the latest online safety research.
