Bring your students and join the T4L team as they explore the micro:bit in this online incursion! Students will learn all about the micro:bit and begin to explore the online programming interface MakeCode.
Students will look at key curriculum concepts including inputs, outputs, systems thinking and even create algorithms. Classes do not need a micro:bit to participate, as they can use the virtual micro:bit built into the MakeCode platform.
This will be an interactive student session and questions are encouraged! The workshop is best suited for students from Stages 2-4.
Student participants will need a laptop or iPad, logged in and with an internet browser open
Teachers are encouraged to have the webinar ready to play on a computer connected to a screen or a projector, so students can follow along!
Please note: This meeting will not be recorded but please ensure you have permission to publish for students to be seen and participate in a live Zoom meeting.
