Join the T4L team for a live digital incursion that will develop students' game development skills using both PowerPoint and MakeCode!

Students and teachers will work together to share ideas and design activities. They will link to content they are learning in the classroom and present this through the development of a simple game.

The webinar will focus on building simple and engaging games that students can start within the session and then continue later and share with their classmates.

A central theme of this webinar will be fostering student computational thinking skills as a key outcome of the Digital Technologies syllabus.

Whether your students are beginners or pros, there will be something in this event to engage and inspire them!

Tools required:

  • Students will need a computer with an internet connection and a browser open, ready to create!
  • Teachers are encouraged to have the webinar ready to play on a computer connected to a screen or a projector, so students can follow along.

Please note this meeting will not be recorded, but please have Permission to Publish approvals for students to be seen and participate in a live Zoom meeting.
