Based on this year’s Science Week Theme: Deep Blue – Innovationfor the future of our oceans, the STEMaSESH team have lined up an extra special 90-minute hands-on webinar for both primary and secondary students.
Students will engage with both Marine Biologists as well as Robotics Engineers and then use this knowledge to plan the steps required to build a vehicleto clean the world's polluted oceans with robotics tools!
Exciting elements of this webinar will include:
Our guests will first share their career journeys, information about projects they work on and provide inspiration on how they would tackle this issue.
Then the team will provide examples built using LEGO robotics tools WeDo, SPIKE and EV3 to inspire students with their designs.
All presenters will provide key problem-solving and design strategies to keep students innovating after the event!
Please note, you will need to download session materials prior to the event (a link will be sent the day before the event). Having access to LEGO robotics tools (either WeDo, SPIKE or EV3) would be advantageous, but is not a requirement of the session, as students can design using other robotics tools or simply pen and paper.
