Join STEM leaders Eric McCarron And Ryan Noonan as they explore the living world and digital technologies in this live learning challenge! These exciting sessions are delivered over 4 fortnightly sessions and designed specifically so students can participate.
In this unit, Stage 3 students will research, design and build a micro:bit digital pet.
Students will develop their understanding of how digital systems represent and transmit data, investigating how digital systems meet specific needs. Then they will go on to consider the role and purpose of Artificial Intelligence and biomimicry in the future. Finally, students will evaluate their design solutions by reflecting on their success according to the criteria.
