What is Hack the Classroom?

Day 1: Prep for Hour of Code –  primary school focus
The event series kicked off with in-depth demos of the latest Minecraft and MakeCode lessons, tailored specifically for educators who teach primary school students. The team also shared information on ways to keep students engaged with coding, as well as unplugged lessons and professional development courses .

Day 2: Prep for Hour of Code – secondary school focus
Day two includes more demos with a focus on coding with Python in both Hour of Code and MakeCode Arcade as well as other resources secondary you can use to engage older students.

Day 3: Inspiration for your students
On day three, guests from NASA, Xbox and others delivered inspiring segments to help you get your students excited about coding by showing you how computer science can lead to fascinating careers in a variety of fields.
